Welcome to Our Parishes!

We are two Roman Catholic parishes, Sacred Heart and St. Brigid, walking together in faith, worship, education and service in historic Lexington, MA, located 15 miles northwest of Boston. Today, Lexington Catholic is a vibrant suburban faith community looking forward in peace, with hope and love for Christ and each other. We seek to be a lively and authentic Catholic community for the new century.  All are  welcome!

Faith and Environment

Pope Francis has called on Catholics to “rediscover” the Corporal and Spiritual Works of Mercy during the Year of Mercy.  The intention for February, Care for Creation, incorporates several themes from the 2015 encyclical “Laudato Si”.  The Archdiocese has prepared a document titled “The Pope’s Prayer Intentions for 2016 and Suggested Works of Mercy”.
The complete document is available by clicking here.
